Chemistry and Stereochemistry of Peptides and Proteins Research Group
Welcome to the website of the Chemistry and Stereochemistry of Peptides and Proteins Research Group led by prof. Zbigniew Szewczuk. Our research is conducted at the Faculty of Chemistry , University of Wroclaw (Wroclaw , Poland).
Our principal interest focuses on the design and synthesis of the biologically active peptides and of their organic derivatives (particularly as immunomodulators) as well as on the development of new methods of the peptidomimetics and peptide conjugates synthesis.
In addition to the research activity members of our group teach undergraduate students. The specific subjects include organic chemistry, mass spectrometry and natural products.
